On June 9, 2016, NCSA Director of Research, Training and Communication Dr. Patti LaBoucane-Benson and CBC Radio Host Shelagh Rogers will present four TED Talk-style discussions about the Truth & Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Recommendations at an event for REACH Edmonton - Council for Safe Communities.

TED Talk-Style Discussions with REACH Edmonton

The discussions will focus on the challenges many Canadians face as the relationship between Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal Canadians has become more prominent in recent years. The discussions are a part of REACH Edmonton’s AGM and Showcase Celebration. REACH is Edmonton’s Council for Safe Communities and is a “community-based organization working to mobilize and coordinate organizations, community groups and Edmontonians to find innovative solutions to prevention and community safety.”
