HOUSING FIRSTNAVIGATOR (FOLLOW-UP SUPPORT WORKER)

NCSA is currently seeking an individual to provide support and direction to individuals that are experiencing homelessness, to access and obtain permanent housing. As a Navigator for the Indigenous Housing First Intensive Case Management Program, you will provide community based support to a participant over the course of their continuation with a Housing First program. The Housing First Navigator will be responsible for regularly inspecting the participant’s residence, maintaining positive relations on a consistent basis with the landlord and meeting with participant in order to plan, develop and assist in executing an Individual Service Plan (ISP) over the course of the program. This will require a broad spectrum of client-centered supports that necessarily vary from participant to participant and may include assisting in life skills, budgeting, making referrals to other agencies, attaching participants to natural supports and focusing energies on maintaining participant tenancy. HOUSING FIRST OUTREACH WORKER

NCSA is currently seeking an individual to provide support and direction to individuals that are experiencing homelessness, to access and obtain permanent housing. As a Housing Outreach Worker (HOW) for the Indigenous Housing First Intensive Case Management Program, you will be the initial point of contact for new participants through their housing process from intake, to housing, to assignment of participants to a Navigator, to a warm transfer upon move-in to residence. You may also be called upon to assist with re-housing at any stage in a participant’s time with the program. You will also be the first point of contact with landlords, and will work to clearly and positively explain the Housing First program to prospective and active landlords, and encourage their continual participation in the program.

HOUSING FIRST TRAUMA SUPPORT WORKER

NCSA is currently seeking an individual to provide support and direction to individuals that are experiencing homelessness, to access and obtain permanent housing. As the Trauma Support Worker for the Indigenous Housing First Intensive Case Management Program, you will provide services specific to recovery from trauma through utilization of existing resources and collaborations with specialists in the field of trauma recovery from trauma through utilization of existing resources and collaborations with specialists in the field of trauma recovery. The Trauma Support Worker would also provide indigenous specific trauma techniques and resources in accordance with accepted best practice trauma informed care and cultural practices. Addition training provided.

SUPPORT WORKER (YOUTH)

NCSA currently is seeking an individual to provide support and referral services to youth participating in the program and wanting to make positive changes in their life. The successful applicant will have previous experience working with youth, building connections to organizations and services to enhance capacity in providing services specific to youth. This individual must be prepared to work weekends, occasional evenings to support youth they are working with. This is a challenging position with internal training provided.

FACILITATOR (WRAP Ed)

The successful applicant will have previous experience working with youth, facilitation experience,building connections to organizations and services to enhance capacity in providing services specific to youth. This individual must be prepared to work weekends, occasional evenings to support youth they are working with. This is a challenging position with internal training provided.
